Description
APY
For APY, we auto compound 4380 times, with 2 hours interval between each. This includes the deduction of performance or other fees, and is usually lower than what other protocols show you. But it is as accurate as it can be. By using the same formula, we can easily compare different protocols side by side in our charts, instead of assuming that one protocol is better just because the displayed APY is higher.
APR
Our APR figures are calculated by depositing the same amount into ever protocol, and then checking the returns every 2 hours. This is what we call “RealAPR”, and judging all the different platforms with the same metric.
